One person has died and another is critically injured, following the collision. Authorities have closed the Pass, as they try to mitigate the fallout from this accident.
“The fire department is battling the blaze and will determine if anyone else was in the trucks after the fire is extinguished,” said Netcare911 spokesperson Chris Botha.
“The road is totally closed to traffic. We ask people to be patient‚ until officials have time to open this road‚” added Botha.
